American Institute for Research – State of Hawaii Public School System Online Training Course

Objectives of Course Deliverables & Target Audience: Lewis Limited was contracted by American Institutes for Research (AIR) to design, develop, and convert a PowerPoint training course into an online computer-based flash training course.  The training course content was developed for the State of Hawaii Public School (“HPS”) System and delivered on Lewis Limited’s Virtual-Chalkboard LMS platform.

The Hawaii Public School System licensed over 5,000 seats of the Virtual Chalkboard – LMS system as the distribution platform. HPS uses the full LMS capabilities for registering, tracking, and reporting for the U.S. State Assessment Online Training Course for Hawaii Test Administrators.

Content Program Development: The course includes developing short animated screen task simulations, audio voice-over throughout the modules, and checkpoints. We developed a customized design concept of the course’s look-and-feel (e.g. colors and style) for the State of Hawaii. Standard navigation and menus were also designed. The courses were built in “Adobe Flash” a universal course content development software program and are all SCORM and AICC Compliant.
