Lewis Limited has provided support for AFCLC, Expeditionary Skills Training Directorate, Air University (AU) Maxwell AFB, AL, with a series of interactive, live-actor, film-based online training modules for preparing Airman for deployment into culturally complex environments.

 

The Lewis Limited team implemented and developed these cultural awareness simulations for implementation into the Air Force (AFLM) training system. The scope of this work is to provide developmental services and complete development of cultural awareness training modules.  Ultimately six cultural awareness training modules will be focused on: Afghanistan, Iraq, Africa, Southcom, China, and Europe.

 

Each one hour, online training module supports the overall Air Force Expeditionary Skills Training requirement. Each country/region culture-specific module will have as its primary focus inclusion of the Air Force defined domains of culture, interwoven into the story line.

 

Each module is a live actor, film-based interactive storyline which infuses the Social Customs and Cultural Norms of the foreign country’s cultural specific teaching points and interactive online “Branching” capabilities.
